Meeting Cleo
Let me just say that I was so completely excited to see the Culler fam this visit. We hadn't seen them since June when Cleo was still in her momma's belly. Little did we know what was going to transpire surrounding Cleo's arrival. We were so sad to be so far from them during Cleo's surgeries and hospitalization. It's hard to feel so helpless when your friends are going through so much. We knew that praying was probably the best thing we could be doing, but it's hard when you pray and pray and can't physically help. Or hug. Or cry.
So it was very sweet to see this family in our home - happy and healthy. It's hard when friends move away. Especially if you're like us and are bad about visiting and creating more shared experiences. But we will always love them dearly and would do absolutely anything for them. We have grown up along side them, been there through college, parents' deaths, engagements, weddings, children.
Sadly, I always forget to take pictures, but her are just a couple.
To think there was a time when a picture of our families would have just included four of us!
Caitlyn loved being around Cleo
Seriously, could she be any more adorable?
